The opportunity:
Visy Recycling is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and delivering the day-to-day activities of all operational functions of our fleet, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining strict cost controls.
The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and delivering the day to day activities of all operational functions of our fleet.
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling, routing, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor fleet performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead, train, and support a team of drivers and operational staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize recycling collection and transportation processes.
What you will bring to the team:
- Proven experience in fleet management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP software an advantage.
