We have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our Heathwood Plastics plant. You will be part of our reliability team, supporting our production team covering operational requirements. This is a varied position, responsible for maintaining and helping to improve the reliability of our plant and equipment. 

What we are looking for: 

• Experience working in a fast paced, high-volume environment while maintaining required safety standards. 

• Experience completing preventative maintenance tasks as allocated, with a proactive approach to pre-emptive maintenance and continuous improvement. 

• Repair and manufacture machine parts and components as required. 

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a “get the job done” approach to everyday work. 

What you will bring to the team:

• You will be a trade qualified Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner 

• A restricted Electrical licence is preferred but not essential. 

• An Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. 

• A Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills. 

• An Ability to work in a team environment. 

• A Strong trouble shooting/fault finding ability. 

• Experience in manufacturing industry.
