Role details:
We’re seeking skilled CAD Laser Operator to join our Reservoir die shop. This is a full-time permanent role on a day shift, working 6am – 1.30pm.
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
- Operate specialised CAD laser equipment to support the production of precision dies and related components
- Interpret engineering drawings and CAD data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with production requirements
- Work collaboratively within the Die Making team, contributing to a small, supportive group
- Follow precise production processes, ensuring high accuracy and quality across all tasks
- Complete some manual handling or cross‑functional tasks where required within the broader operations team
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and accurate job execution
What you’ll bring:
- Die Making experience with Flat and rotary dies is beneficial
- Strong computer skills required to learn our specialized CAD machinery
- Experience operating a CAD or CNC machine is beneficial
- Ability to work accurately and with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a small team and being trained across all areas
- Clear communication and an ability to read technical information
